Counselling & Supervision costs

Human Givens therapy is recognised as being fast and effective. Many clients experience change from the very first session, and most will complete somewhere between 3 and 6 sessions in total. HG is a brief therapy, designed to get a person back to living a healthy life – work, study, relationships, sport, family, activities – as soon as possible. Sometimes it takes longer, we work at your pace and ethically we feel it’s right to not tie you to a contract or imply you will need many months of counselling.

Sessions prices for 60 minutes:
 

• Individual session: £85.00 for 60 minutes, £100 for 75 minutes.

• Student / low income sessions: £75.00 for 60 minutes, £90 for 75 minutes.

• Clinical supervision: £95.00 for 60 minutes, £85.00 for trainees and NQT.

The Human Givens Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification in counselling and psychotherapy. It is part of, and explicitly referenced within, the SCoPEd national training and standards framework for counselling and psychotherapy, with approved routes for its graduates to move from Column A of the framework to Column B or Column C should they wish to do so. 

The corresponding HGI Membership levels for qualified HG therapists are listed on the framework document. Organisations are increasingly recognising the SCoPEd columns and referencing them when advertising positions.

The Human Givens Institute (HGI) was actively involved in drawing up the framework and is a founding member of the Partnership of Counselling and Psychotherapy Bodies (PCPB).
